Application and Care instructions

Thank you for your sticker purchase from our store! Your sticker may be made of different materials, depending on the order. Rest assured, no matter what the material is, it will be appropriate for your application. Stickers are printed on Permanent adhesive vinyl, using environmentally friendly solvent inks. Your logo or graphics etch permanently into the vinyl providing up to 3 years of eye popping color, with good abrasion resistance, and will always be waterproof. For superior UV protection and abrasion resistance, lamination is used and will make the stickers "stiffer". Laminated stickers will not adhere around contours as well, but with care and attention you can apply them. Please follow along or reach out if you have any questions about your application or materials, I will gladly provide specifics and data sheets.

Lets get through some application and care instructions for you to best enjoy and share your purchase!

For Flat Vinyl applications (vehicles, water bottles, laptops, cell phones, etc):

  1. Make sure surface is warm, you can use a hair dryer lightly if needed to pre-warm the surface. Cold surfaces won't adhere as well, and edge lifting will reduce the life of the decal!
  2. Set up for success! Measure your space for center and mark where you would like the sticker to be
  3. Prep the area with Isopropyl Alcohol, or Ammonia based cleaner if not available (windex)
  4. After backing is peeled, avoid touching the sticky surface as much as possible!
  5. If your decal has transfer tape on it be careful to ensure decal peels from backing WITH the transfer tape, be patient and bend the backing away from the decal to help! (NOT applicable to all decals, only multi-piece ones)
  6. Lightly place your decal where you want it, you can touch the middle to see if you like where it is, and gently peel it and reposition if needed. Pulling too hard will deform the decal, so be gentle. You will not be able to if you’ve pressed too much of the decal due to pressure sensitive adhesive, and it will wreck the product
  7. When it is where you like, press from the middle out to the edges being careful to avoid air bubbles. You can burnish it with a credit card wrapped in fabric gently (make sure its clean to avoid scratches) ensuring the entire decal is pressed on
  8. Peel the transfer tape gently at a sharp angle (if applicable)
  9. In instances of curves or contours, you can heat the decal with a hair dryer and work toward the edges pressing the decal to the contour. Heat will soften the materials, and will make it easy to scratch so be careful
  10. Use light heat with a hair dryer to warm the decal slightly to touch, and ensure all of the edges are pressed flat, and then leave the decal for at least 24 hrs for the adhesive to set correctly.

For Sports applications (helmets, sticks):

  1. Make sure helmet or stick is warm, bring it inside for a couple hours before applying. You can use a hair dryer lightly if needed to pre-warm the surface.
  4. Gently peel the backing, and take care to ensure the decal doesn't stick to itself, avoid touching the sticky surface as much as possible!
